When I was 10 and Penny was 2 a new girl arrived at the work house. She slept in the dormitory in the bed next to mine and Penny's. Somthing about her seemed strange, when told to scrb thhe flooor she refused, yet claimed it was inhuman to give her no supper for a week I said she could share mine. At night she grumbled, I was amazed and so were the other girls every night she would talk and every night she would refuse to tell Mrs Frobbisher and every night instead of snitching we would all go without Supper, then she apologised and acted as if she couldn't help it I dont know what to make of her!
She'll soon find out though that in the workhouse we believe in taking one for the team and if she doesn't learn that she will suffer ,rights!
